Our Extruded/Wirecut bricks are manufactured to exacting quality standards and by a different manufacturing method to either our Handmade or Slop Moulded bricks.
The Clay is formed into a continuous slug of clay under pressure and then cut into brick modules by wires. The individual brick units are all the same shape and size and very uniform, similar in some respects to “Lego” bricks.
Whilst Extruded/Wirecut bricks are very uniform and regular in shape and size they do however come in a variety of different face finishes such as sanded, rusticated, wire scratched or rolled textured.
As well as being ideally suited for use on new building structures our Extruded/Wirecut bricks are also suitable for renovation and refurbishment of older established buildings.
