Helligsø Teglværk A/S
Farmer Jens Thomsen Chr. Sindbjerg established the factory back in the late 1800’s.
Sindbjerg quickly disappears from the story with the Thomsen family remaining owners of the business until 1906.
In 1906 the factory was bought by Mikkel Lund until 1908 when the business was bought by M. Kjeldsen.
1925 saw the business being bought by an investment company. In 1933 a partnership between Jacob Hestbech and Hans Hansen bought the factory but the Hestbech family pulled out shortly after.
Today the Hansen family is still the main shareholder in the factory.
