Carl Matzen Teglvaerk A/S
In 1750 the Duke of Glücksborg gave his permission for the Brickmaster from Iller to build a brick factory at Egernsund.
The founder’s daughter married a member of the Matzen family and they later took over the factory. Ever since the factory has remained under the ownership of the Matzen family.
The factory is one of the oldest in Denmark.
